The Pursuit Of Purpose

Here, sitting here alone
Wondering what it's all about
I look outside, and I see the Sun
It never seemed to shine so bright
As it does today
How could I have spent this life wasting it away?

And now it's clear
Why everything is here
I can't hide here anymore
Cause there's so much more to living than being alive
And now this emptiness is gone
It's swept out the back door
And it's never coming back here anymore

Now, now I can escape
From this death-end cage
I was trapped inside (trapped by myself)
The way was always there
I had to turn around
And take my eyes off this tear-stained ground

And now it's clear
Why everything is here
I can't hide here anymore
Cause there's so much more to living than being alive
And now this emptiness is gone
It's swept out the back door
And it's never coming back here anymore
