Las Sirenas

Watching, with ears stopped from the shaking ship
And their red lips open like the gasping fish
Their bodies sway, change shape and clothes
She'd gowns and grow, and their long hair writhes
Dazzled by the gleam and shimmer of their scales, you will steer so near the rocks
Their breath can touch the sails
Her fish tail furled, and combs her hair that climbs and curls
Just like water in your lungs, they erase all disappointment
The song swells up, throbs in your nails and trembles planks
And your dull eyes fail
