der von der Tamburg einen Sohn und der von der Falkenburg eine Tochter.
Es waren ihre einzigsten Nachkommen und wurden darum streng bewacht.
Vor allem verhinderten die befeindeten Väter, das diese
jungen Menschen sich sahen. Trotz des strengen Verbotes ihrer
Eltern trafen Irmhild und Hermann sich, Allabendlich
in einer Waldhütte, die auf dem Heinzestein am Bache stand.
Die nächtlichen Zusammenkünfte hatten jedoch ihre Folgen.
Und so verstieß unter argen Mißhandlungen
der Falkenburger Herr seine Tochter.
Irmhild flüchtete in die Waldhütte und starb hier während
der Niederkunft. Ihr geliebter Hermann aber, stürzte sich,
als er dies erfuhr aus Verzweiflung in sein Schwert. Die Burgen
sind langst verschwunden, doch erzählt man sich, das sich an dem
Bache hier, alle sieben Jahre die Geister der Verstorbenen zeigen
und ein weißgekleidetes Fräulein auf der Waldwiese unterm
Haderholzstein erscheint.
