To my future self I just want to help
I don't want anyone else to know this ball of hate I have grown
And I don't want anyone to feel this pain
I've had to shield from my fathers lips and his resentful fists
I promise I wont hurt someone I bring to this earth
I'll lead a life of love and putting everyone else above my own intentions
