I fear it's just
another bad connection with control
the tower fades into a distance we created
as the signal does the same,
the scene unfolds
the runway fades
into the night
the lines erase
and we're in space;
but we don't want to crash
so let's just try and steer out of harm's way
red lights are blinking
as the cabin pressure's sinking
as the third and final engine starts to fail
i'm finding hope in lies
and little truths that come disguised;
unwisely, i'm in for the sell
but not the sale
