Independence makes me sick
For a while it just didn't click
that I had to be dependent
I want today to start with no delay,
because today is my dependence day

Jesus please help me to stand up
I've tried, I've failed
I need you Holy Spirit to come
and fill my cup right now
Please show me how to walk in your Spirit,
and your voice I will hear and follow day to day

Deprevation of his love
can suffocate the soul
Take a deep breath of his love,
it makes you whole
