Box

I am in a box
I am locked inside
Someone owns the locks
Nowhere left to hide
Nothing left but hell
No one left to be
No one here to tell
No one here to free
Nothing you can see;
All the scars are small:
Deeper than the sea,
Closer than the wall
Nowhere left to hide;
Someone blocks the door
No one left to ask
What that scream is for
I am in a box
I am locked inside
Someone owns the locks
Nowhere left to hide
No one left to cry
No one here who talks
Nowhere to be safe
I am in a box
