Better Late Than Never

Sit still and watch the lights of this city scape streak by in straight lines and record time
I hadn't thought of this pictureand thought is all I have to miss of her
I remember those times that I opened my mouth in hope of saying something clever
To think I haven't cared that much about what I've said in yearsstepped out on the sidewalk
Ten paces across the parking lot
And through the hallway
Pull the door and enter
We pay with faced paper
I remember I thoughtdon't act so interested, I'm not so interesting
And maybe I'll call, it's better late than never
I promise I'll call, it's better late than never
