somebody just pulled the plug on my weatherman
it wasn't too bright, but they needed my

somebody stole my weatherproof gentleman
left on a coat (?) in the sun

he was a kind man who always stood up for me
never gave reason to dream he would lie
always intriguing, never showed apathy
he never brought a tear to my eyes

it might be nice if you'd be my weatherman
take me in, far away from the cold
cause i was always a girl who would talk too much
always losing control

it might be nice if you'd be my weatherman
fill my mouth with the right words to say
cause i was always a girl who would talk too much
always running away
