I can't believe our history-there's so much left out, I'll never see
The space between the lines is where the rest is seen
What's fact or fantasy? The answers can be troubling indeed

There are things I'll never understand
Like how can we stand by and do nothing to change these books
What are we teaching?

If I told you everything you've ever learned was just a lie
Would you even listen?
And if I told you everything could change, its up to us
Would you even care?

I never knew how far we'll go to take, and take, and take, and take some more
And then we cover it all up so no one knows the truth
And then we feed it to our youth
I just can't take it anymore
