alongside an african
who'd be faster, me or him?
i wonder which of us would win?
and at the end of the race
we'd find a nice ice cream place
we'd chill out and discuss the race
one on one and face to face
and i wish i could see what a blind man sees
i'll bet it's better than looking at me
especially considering i lost my race
but now i see i'm in a higher place
