When you're feeling down and having a bad day
When your minds not here it's a million miles away
When you're trying to stay calm but you need to explode
So you put on a front, but can't cope with the load
When the burdens heavy and weighing you down
You feel you can't smile but can only frown
When you want to give up at the end of the day

If you feel you've got nowhere left to turn (nowhere left to turn)
Then there's one more lesson you need to learn
If he's not an option, but a last resort
He'll never fail you so look to your Lord
He's there when you need him he's there all the time
It wont cost you a penny or even a dime

He's there when you need him
He's your refuge and strength he's your hope and your friend
