In my younger years I saw
People in the trees
They spoke and sheltered me
They're still with me
Was, was I dreaming?
Could I be?
It's so hard to believe
I know that it sounds crazy
Up in the highest of highest trees
Is where they would be
With warm smiles so comforting
The darkest days couldn't be

Not in these, these days of sunshine
With those friends of mine

They awoke me
