The landscape that rushes by outside
How fast my life has gone by so quick
As if I got on yesterday
And yet how many changes have happened,
How many times I was sure I had got there
Settled down but then I had to leave again
Now the only thing I'm waiting for is to get to my last station
From which you do not leave
But tell me: and if I was wrong?
How many dreams, how many hopes experiences to be lived,
The worry of leaving, starting to build your own life
plans, intentions, a lot of hard work, little responsibility
a longing to discover the world
What will I find? Eternity? Or not? How will it be?
I've found during the journey that my time hasn't been sufficient
That only half my dreams didn't come true
It isn't because of my duties and I'd do it one more time
A satisfied smile appears when a pleasant memory comes back in my mind

The train I've left behind, I can hear it to leave for a new journey
The station is crowded, all these people like me will they be happy?
I see women , men , young people and children
My life has gone by, my baggage now is in my hand

Vita Trascorsa
Un languido sguardo al finestrino, il paesaggio che corre
come ? corso il tempo della mia vita, cosi in fretta, cosi veloce
tanto che mi pare d'essere salito ieri, eppure quanti cambiamenti sono avvenuti
quante volte sono stato convinto d'essere arrivato, sistemato,
ma sono dovuto ripartire da capo
ora aspetto solo di arrivare alla mia ultima stazione, quella da cui non si riparte pi?
Ma dimmi, e se avessi sbagliato?
Quanti sogni, quante speranze, esperienze da vivere, ansia di partire,
cominciare a costruirsi la propria vita, progetti, intenzioni, tanta buona volont?
poca responsabilit?, voglia di scoprire il mondo
Che trover?? l'eternit? oppure no? Come sar??
Ho scoperto durante il viaggio che il mio tempo non ? stato sufficiente,
che i miei sogni sono rimasti a met?, non do la colpa ai miei doveri,
e ancora una volta lo rifarei
Un sorriso soddisfatto appare quando un piacevole ricordo mi torna in mente
Che trover?? l'eternit? oppure no? Come sar??
Con il treno alle spalle, lo sento ripartire per un nuovo viaggio,
la stazione ? affollata, tutta questa gente come me, loro saranno contenti?
Vedo donne, uomini, giovani e bambini
La mia vita ? passata, il mio bagaglio in mano
